Kuraray
In 1926 Kuraray Co., Ltd. was established in Kurashiki City, Japan, where it started the industrial production of viscose rayon. Kuraray entered the field of dental materials in 1973 and in 1978, Kuraray released the world’s first dentin bonding agent, Clearfil Bond System F. This marked the birth of adhesive dentistry and at the same time the total etch technique on dentin and enamel, was invented by Kuraray.
Now, more than a quarter of a century later, Kuraray continues to bring forth innovative quality products to meet the demands of a continuously changing profession. With landmark products such as Panavia™ and Clearfil™ SE Bond™ and with the recently introduced Clearfil™ S3 Bond, Clearfil™ Esthetic Cement and Clearfil™ Majesty, Kuraray has proven its ability to turn leading-edge research into real world solutions.
